If you live in Tema and you own
a private car and you come to
Accra five times in a week, then
you pay GHc520 as road tolls in a
year. If you live at the Afienya
area and would have to pass
through two toll booths, then
you pay GHc1,040 in a year. This
is aside the tax, import or export
duties and other levies you pay
to the state.
With this in mind,
don't you think it's an abuse of
your human rights when you
wake up every morning and have
to use the deplorable motorway?
And don't you think it's your
responsibility to help fight
corruption? The battle against
corruption should not be a
choice.
We must be conscripted
into that seemingly thankless
army by the dictate of human
conscience and the love for our
Motherland. #iloveghana
