Two years on: R.I.P PROF J.E.A MILLS

It has been exactly 2 years since
the demise of our much cherished
president, Prof. John Evans FiFi
Attah Mills. On 24th july, 2012, the
whole nation of Ghana was thrown
into a state of mourning. The man
porpularly known as
“Asomdwehene” joined his
ancestors in what many described
as the shock of the year. This man
led this nation in humility, wisdom,
respect for humanity and Intense
love for the citizenry. He was one
of our few leaders who had the fear
of the Lord in his heart. He was a
man who believed that position is
not posession. I doubt if we will
ever find a leader like him again.
But yet, i put this challenge to the
youth of this nation. Let the virtues
of The late president Mills, play a
vital role in our various lives. Good
name, they say is better than
riches. What will it benefit a man, if
he makes his money in the world,
yet he finds traces of evil names
after his death?
During his lifetime, many people
despised him. But now, the same
people keep crying and wishing for
his return. This is the kind of leader
we need in Ghana.I just hope that
our leaders will learn a lesson from
this noble man’s behavior. I hope
that we see the change we have all
been looking forward to..
The time is now, Not tomorrow!
